My husband and I have also been having a few film nights, while in Lockdown. It's a great cheap way of relaxing. We get a bag of popcorn, sweets and treats. Grab a blanket, turn down the lights and enjoy. I only wish we had a garden and a projector then we can have a film night outside, that would be fun! But for now, we will have to make do with our feet up and a blanket on our sofa.

We have watched a few films and below are my top three which I have enjoyed. Some have been out for a while, but now with all this spare time we have, we can finally watch them without giving up halfway through a we are both tired from work and struggling to keep our eyes open.

Blended (2014):

My rating 4/5.

Starring: Adam Sandler, Drew Berrymore and Wedi McLendon-Covey.

When a blind date goes wrong, with both people agreeing that they will not see each other again Lauren (Drew Berrymore) decides what she needs a holiday to spend time with her two boys. What are the chances that Jim (Adam Sandler) also needs a holiday with his three girls after the same blind date. It ends up that they both ended up on the same African Holiday together!

My husband and I loved this movie, it is a comedy and it has Adam Sandler so we were well up to watching it. I laughed and cried during this movie. Totally am going to rewatch some of Adam Sandler's movies.  Blended is available on Amazon Prime.

Secret Obsession (2019):

My rating 3/5.

Starring: Brenda Song, Mike Vogel and Dennis Haysbert.

When Jennifer (Brenda Song) is involved in an accident and can't remember anything. Her 'husband' Russell (Mike Vogel) turns up to care for her and to take her home, it soon becomes clear that in fact he is not her husband but has a creepy obsession with her, with photoshopped photos around the house as well as other creepy things. Russell harms anyone who is trying to uncover the truth of him and ends up with having a backyard full of bodies that he has murdered.

I found it a good movie a bit creepy in places (we watched it in the day time and glad we did!)  but it is not one that I will be watching again.  Secret Obsession is available on Netflix.

Breaking In (2018):

My rating 2/5.

Starring: Gabrielle Union, Billy Burke and Richard Cabral.

A mother travels back to her father home with her two children to get it ready to be sold, however, it is never that easy and they get broken in by this gang of criminals who wants the money that is in the house. The gang clearly though the house would be empty and are surprised that they weren't alone.

This film was okay, a bit weird and it's not one I will watch again. Breaking in is available on Netflix and Amazon Prime.
